FIR Installation

Install Fuel Activator® in 5 minutes without any line cut

Place FIR Fuel Activator® unit on the non-metal supply fuel line and lock into place with one wire tie or mounting clip; no line cut or engine components unmounting is required. If you install two or more Fuel Activators® leave as much space between units as possible. Location of the units is intended to provide longer exposure of the IR emissions to the fuel in the line.

• Find the Fuel Injectors (4-cylinder engine has 4 injectors, V-6 has 6, and so on).
• Look for a metal tube (called “Fuel Rail”) that connects through all injectors.
• Trail the Common Rail to its ends to find the connecting rubber hose(s).
• Usually a 4-cylinder engine may have only one fuel hose connected to the Fuel Rail, which will be the Supply Fuel hose to be installed on.
• For a 6-cyl or 8-cyl engine it may have two connecting hoses, one being Supply Line and the other Return Line.
• Look for a “Cap-like” device, called Pressure Regulator, on the end of Common Rail. The end having the Pressure Regulator is Return Line. Then, install the unit on the fuel hose connected to the other end. (Some vehicles may have two “Cap-like” devices on both ends, one being Pressure Damper and the other Pressure Regulator. To tell the difference, the Pressure regulator has a Vacuum Line to it)

NC-104 package contains 1 x FIR Fuel Activator with mounting-ring, English instruction manual and wire-ties. Each NC-104 unit works with engine sizes up to 3000cc.
NC-105 package contains 1 x FIR Fuel Activator double emitter with mounting-rings, English instruction manual and wire-ties. Each NC-105 unit works with engine sizes up to 5000cc.
Using two or more units improves engine preformances, but fuel saving is not proportional.
